BET: The Evolution of Black British Music

The launch party of The Evolution of Black British Music took to the Leake Street Arches in Waterloo and our bullet time booth was there to capture all the action.

“The Evolution of Black British Music” is a 5-part documentary about the extraordinary rise of Black British Music in the past three decades.

The urban and artistic graffiti tunnel in the Leake Street Arches was the perfect venue to host the event, reflecting the vibrancy and creativity of British Black Music.

Starting with Jungle, the series will chart all of the music genres that have followed and originated from the UK. It will look at how genres initially found their platform on the pirate radio stations in council flats and how they created the foundations for International renowned sounds. Showing that beyond just being dance floor fillers, these UK genres were a reflection of their time.

Our Bullet Time Booth featured a custom branded Audi as the backdrop to add further dimension into the image. The booth visualises movement and captures a matrix style effect through a high resolution multi-camera array synchronised on a curved 180-degree structure.

You can now catch this series exclusively on My5.
